Verstappen moves clear of Hamilton in F1 2022 driver ratings

Updates to the F1 2022 video game driver ratings have been published by Codemasters and EA Sports.

The developers have scored each driver based on Experience (EXP), Racecraft (RAC), Awareness (AWA) and Pace (PAC), with all four combining for an overall Rating (RTG). With those factors in mind, there have been some notable rating changes since the first ones were revealed earlier this year.

Max Verstappen is now the highest rated driver on the game at 95 overall, while title rival Charles Leclerc has dropped to fourth, with his overall rating decreasing by one point to 91.

George Russell has moved up to third, overtaking Leclerc after his three podiums, finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton in two races and taking a maiden pole position in Hungary. All that has meant increases to his Racecraft (94), Pace (95), and overall Rating (92).

Schumacher improves after first points

After getting the first points in his F1 career, Mick Schumacher increases his overall Rating by two (79), with his Racecraft increased to 84, which puts him ahead of Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen (82).

Zhou Guanyu’s overall score has increased to 75, while Nicholas Latifi has been given the lowest score of 69.
