This year’s national team is ranked No. 1 in the world. In the last world championship in 2018, the US took fifth place.

The team is traveling to Arnhem, Netherlands, for its first game on Saturday against Kazakhstan.

The Americans will then go on to Łódź, Poland, where the team will face Bulgaria and Germany next week.

After the first round of pool play, the top teams will move on to another round of pool play before entering a single-elimination tournament.

Wong-Orantes played at Nebraska from 2013 to 2017, while Robinson was only a Husker during the 2013-14 season.

Both earned several accolades during their time playing under head coach John Cook.
