Tom Brady repeats as NFL’s merchandise sales king

Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been crowned once again as the king’s merchandise sales against a crowded mantle of NFL players.

GOATs do GOAT things. Tom Brady is considered, almost unanimously at this point, to be the greatest football player to ever lace up a pair of cleats, and perhaps the owner of the greatest athletic career in the history of his human history. Given all that he accomplished as he gets ready to enter his 23rd NFL season, where he’ll be at the ripe old age of 45 once it kicks off.

Now, Tom Brady can now add yet another accolade to the GOAT farm.

The NFL Players Association has come out with its list of the top 50 players that sold the most merchandise. Jerseys are obviously a big part of this, but it also includes things like t-shirts and hoodies, bobbleheads, plush toys, socks, face coverings, headbands, figures and funkos, wall decals, backpacks, pennants, photos, drinkware, and even pet products. Anything that is officially licensed by the NFLPLA qualifies. Don’t blame us for that long list of just working with what they give us.

By topping the list again, Brady has gone back to the same as he did for the past year. It’s also his record FIFTH time topping this list, which says a lot about the popularity of Brady though some of the flack he might take. For reference, the rest of the top ten were Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Mac Jones oddly enough at the five spot, Dak Prescott (being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys with its perks) George Kittle, the only non-quarterback To crack the top ten, Justin Fields (another surprise but rookie jerseys sell-out after the draft), Aaron Rodgers, and finally Justin Herbert rounding out the top ten.

For those keeping score at home, the other Buccaneers to make the list were Rob Gronkowski at 34, and Mike Evans at 48. It’s refreshing to see Evans move some merch considering he always seems to fly under the radar despite never having a 1,000- yard receiving season.

Tom Brady is quite possibly the most accomplished athlete

Ever, certainly, as it pertains to the NFL. It may be a shock to some that he is still doing what he is doing at his age in the field, just as it is to see what he is doing in the field of sales of the name. The man is immortal.
