Telstra half-time entertainment for the AFLW Grand Final

AFL is pleased to announce numerous ARIA-Award awards, R & B-pop singer, songwriter and actress. Jessica Mauboy will play in the 2022 Telstra Half-Time Entertainment match at the 2022 NAB AFLW Grand Final on Saturday 9 April.

Starting in 2006, Jess has become one of the most popular actors in the country, releasing six more than 10 albums, 16 x Top 20 Singles and recording over 200 million streams worldwide breadth in his work.

Working with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg and Pitbull, Jess is back in the Australian music scene with her new song. ‘Light’ described as a summer song.

No one is surprised to play on the big stage, proud woman Kuku Yalanji and Wakaman said she is excited to be a part of the 2022 Telstra Half-Time Entertainment.

“It’s an honor to play Telstra Half-Time Entertainment before the 2022 NAB AFLW Grand Final this week,” said Mauboy.

“The 2022 NAB AFLW competition has grown from strength to strength over the past six years, so I am proud to show my support for women and to be part of the most important day of the AFLW calendar.”

AFL General Manager Consumer and Business Kylie Rogers said the league was delighted to welcome Jess to the biggest day on the AFLW calendar.

“AFL is delighted to have one of the most popular artists in the country performing Telstra Half-Time Entertainment this year,” Ms Rogers said.

“Jess is a wonderful player and role model for women and girls across the country, so we are delighted to welcome her to be part of the celebrations to celebrate another year of women’s soccer.

“With the good weather, plenty of entertainment, and free public transportation available, there is no better time for fans of all ages to book their tickets and have a 2022 NAB AFLW Grand Final.”

Tickets for the 2022 NAB AFLW Grand Final are available at Ticketek, with prices suspended at $ 10 for adults, and admission FREE for AFLW Club Members and Youths 17 years and under.

The NAB AFL 2022 Women’s Big Finals will be broadcast live on Seven Network, FOX FOOTY, Kayo, and the AFL Official App. This game will be broadcast live on womens.afl and the AFLW Official App.
