K-drama “Mental Coach Jegal” starring Lee Yoo Mi reveals release date

TV channel tvN shared images from the first script reading of “Mental Coach Jegalshe announced release date of the series. It brings back Lee Yoo Mi, Jung Woo, among others.

tvN reported that “Mental Coach Jegal” will premiere on September 12. In addition, he published photographs of the first libretto reading together with the main section integrated by: Lee Yoo Mi, Jung Woo, Park Se Yeung and Kwon Yul; in the company of other members.

The series will tell the story of former national taekwondo athlete Je Ga Gil, who was expelled forever from his team due to an accident. Then he becomes a mental trainer of other athletes with the aim of breaking down the belief of success.

Jung Woo will assume the role of Je Ga Gil, a former national athlete also known for his hard work and charm. Lee Yoo Mi will play the former world gold medalist as short track skater Cha Ga Eul. The two meet when she goes through a decline in her abilities.

On the other hand, Park Se Young will play mental health support staff member Park Seung Ha. Meanwhile Kwon Yul will personify the director of the Human Rights Center of the Korean Olympic Committee, Gu Tae Man.

“Mental Coach Jegal” will arrive on Monday, September 12 at 10:30 pm (KST).
