Follow the music: a look at free summer entertainment options

With summer in full swing, many Greenvillians may be looking for free live entertainment. Throughout the summer, all Greenville County municipalities will feature opportunities for the public to see free live performances or movies, including:

Simpsonville Music Series & Food Truck Rodeo

  • Every Thursday through June 30 at 6 pm
  • CCNB Amphitheater at Heritage Park, 861 SE Main St., Simpsonville
  • Remaining shows include live music from Gene Styles – Tribute to Elvis, Retro Vertigo and James Radford Band.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series

  • Every Friday through Aug. 26 from 6-9 pm
  • Commerce Park, 200 Depot St., Fountain Inn
  • This concert series will feature live music from Luke Smith, Ryan Spencer, 20 Ride, Synergy Twins, Luke Deuce, Gregg Grimaldo, Fantasy, The Crossfire Band, Jef Chandler Band, Tyler Spillers, The Ned Lucas Band, and Kevin Mac & the Homies .

  • This event will feature movies such as “Spider Man: No Way Home” and “Sing 2.” It also includes inflatables for kids to play on and concessions will be available for purchase.
