Storybook Land is celebrating providing 45 years of family fun with events including a movie, a watermelon feed, a princess and super hero party and a sand castle / sculpture contest. Free. History Alive !: 11 am-3 pm Saturday, Centennial Village at Brown County Fairgrounds. Step back in time with historical re-enactors from Brown County’s past, family activities, programs, games and tours of the village. Hear stories about early immigrants, indigenous peoples and other Dakota Territory inhabitants and walk the village boardwalk to interact with live-action characters from Brown County’s past. Free and hosted by the Dacotah Prairie Museum. Concessions available.
