Casey Affleck appears to miss Ben’s wedding to take son to soccer

Casey Affleck was unable to make it to Georgia for his brother’s lavish wedding because it appears he had to take his son Atticus to soccer practice.

The “Manchester by the Sea” star’s girlfriend, Caylee Cowan, shared a since-deleted comment underneath Casey’s Instagram tribute to Bennifer 2.0 that gave away his real plans.

“Hey, if you weren’t in town Saturday to take Atty to soccer practice then who would’ve helped the kid who broke his arm?” she wrote.

“You’re a good man. I love you.”

A rep for Casey did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Cowan’s comment came after paparazzi caught up with Casey, 47, at Starbucks where he, looking visibly uncomfortable, told the cameras he had “other things” to do.

A source later told People that the “Gone Baby Gone” actor had to miss the nuptials “because of family, parental obligations at home.”

The “Hustlers” star, 53, and “Good Will Hunting” actor, 50, tied the knot Saturday evening in a ritzy ceremony officiated by Jay Shetty at Ben’s $8 million estate in Riceboro. Lopez told Affleck “I do” for the second time while wearing a dazzling Ralph Lauren gown that featured a 20-foot veil.

Bennifer 2.0 tied the knot in Georgia over the weekend.

Bennifer 2.0 – who initially tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier this summer – welcomed A-listers such as Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel, along with talent agent Patrick Whitesell, Australian model Pia Miller and “Jay and Silent Bob” stars Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.

The dress code seemed to call for all guesses to wear white.

On Sunday, the newlyweds invited the intimate group of family and friends to a picnic-like brunch. A-list event planner Colin Cowie was hired to plan the 3-day affair, Page Six exclusively reported last month.
